The SS package is based on the 9C1 police package that included sport-tuned suspension, reinforced shocks, four-wheel disk brakes, transmission cooler, dual exhaust, and a 3.08 limited-slip rear differential. Under the hood is an LT1 5.7-liter V-8 attached to a four-speed automatic transmission.

This Impala SS is painted in hard-to- find Black Cherry. Accented with 22" alloy wheels and a rear lip spoiler.
