The first year for the SS package on a Nova was 1963. It was a trim package and still came with the 194 CID inline 6 engine and 2 speed powerglide transmission. Most of these cars have been cut up into race cars or have had V8s transplanted and the original I6 cars are hard to find. We have one here that is also a convertible! Most experts agree that there were around 12,000 1963 Chevrolet Nova SS Convertibles built. These cars were built to compete with the Falcon and they did very well. This car is very solid and runs and drives great! The top is in excellent shape as is the rest of the interior. New alternator, fuel pump, and paint have been put on this car recently. Beautiful color combination of white paint and blue interior make this car stand out. Please, call 800-231-3616 or 618-271-3000 for additional details.
