The 283 small block engine was built using Power Pack heads with new hardened valve seats to be unleaded fuel friendly, an Edelbrock aluminum intake manifold, Comp Cams Thumper cam and Ram Horn exhaust manifolds. The Saginaw 4-speed transmission is shifted through the gears via a Hurst Indy style shifter and features a hydraulic throw out bearing and a Zoom 3000 series clutch. The front suspension was upgraded with a CPP mini sub frame kit that includes lower tubular A arms. Handling the power is a 10 bolt posi-traction unit with 3.55 gears allowing you some fun around town and to still be able to get on the highway.
