This bad boy has been built to give you the looks and performance of a Shelby GT350 in a package that you won't be afraid to drive. Under the hood is a 289 CID V8, which, according to the owner, was the one the car was fitted with before it left the manufacturing line, and was rebuilt about 600 miles ago. It is equipped with a mild performance cam, and a Holley Sniper Electronic Fuel Injection system. A new Holley fuel tank with electronic fuel pump and new fuel lines supply the go juice. A Hyperspark ignition system provides the spark, and Scott Drake long tube headers scavenge the exhaust into the stainless exhaust, which sounds great thanks to the Borla X1 mufflers out back. Backing the fiesty 289 is a Tremec 5-speed manual transmission. its Hurst shifter makes gear changes feel quite sporty, and the 5th gear adds to the highway friendly aspect - you'll want to make many a long cruise in this Pony.
