KC Mathieu became a household name thanks to his time on the Discovery Channel's hit show Fast N' Loud. The build was featured on StreetTrucks Mag's October 2023 publication online. Highlights of the build include a 5. 0 liter 'Aluminator' Quad Cam V8 with a Roush supercharger that is mated to a 6 speed 6R80 automatic transmission. Power is sent through a custom driveshaft with a Ford 8. 8 inch rear end with a TruTrac Limited Slip Differential sporting 3:73 gears. 20x9 and 20x10 2 piece forged American Racing VF526 wheels are wrapped in Nitto NT555 G2 tires with custom backspacing to fit over the massive 6 piston Wilwood brakes. A Crown Vic Independent Front Suspension with RideTech HQ Series coilovers plant the front of this truck where it needs to be while a custom 4 link with coilovers and a C-Notch bring the rear down to earth. All dressed up in what I call arrest me red with black interior, this truck stands out in a crowd. First impressions are great but it is the details of this truck that impress me and I am a little jaded after working around classic cars for so long. If there was a bolt or nut untouched during the restoration of this truck it would surprise me. New body bushing, painted frame and suspension components everything under this truck is shiny and looks factory, or better. The interior is sharp and tidy with no extra buttons or switches. The dash has all new Omega Kustom gauges and a chrome tilt steering wheel. The bench seat has been massaged with foam added in the right places to hold you in place like buckets but still gives your partner a chance to get close, like the good ole days.
