Originally a C-code 289 car, this Fairlane has undergone an impressive transformation and now packs serious muscle under the hood. Powering this build is a Ford FE 390 C7ME-A casting, bored. 030 over and paired with a Scat rotating assembly, steel crank, H-beam rods, and forged pistons. The result is a 431 cubic inch powerhouse with a 9. 2:1 compression ratio. Performance enhancements include a Comp roller cam and lifters, Comp roller shaft rockers, Edelbrock Performer RPM aluminum heads (72cc), Edelbrock Performer RPM intake manifold, and a Holley 4150 750 CFM double pumper carburetor. Ignition is handled by an MSD Pro-billet distributor, Digital 6AL controller, and MSD coil, ensuring reliable spark and top-end performance. Backing the big block is a stout C-6 automatic transmission with a shift kit, paired with a Hurst ratchet shifter and a TCI Sizzler 2100 rpm stall converter. Power is delivered to the pavement via a Moser sheet metal rear axle housing with Ford 9-inch 4. 11 gears, 35-spline axles, and a spool.
