The F series line of trucks was introduced in 1948 as the 'Bonus-Built' truck. This was due to the simple fact that the new line was just that a completely new line. No longer were there trucks based upon a car chassis it was based on a completely new design. With all new sheet metal and a much larger cab the new F1 was an instant hit. This beautiful F1 has been painted in a gorgeous white pearl with a set of blue flames that have just a hint of green as they trail off. Besides the flame job, there is also quite a bit of pin striping on both the exterior and interior of this bad to the bone F1. The fiberglass fenders and running boards are done so good that if you weren't told they were glass you would think they were steel. The cab of this cool old Ford Pickup truck has been chopped 5 1/2 inches to help with the overall -slammed- look. Inside the cab, the interior is finished in nice custom gray tweed with aftermarket gauges to keep track of everything. It also has a little bit of tongue and cheek humor with such sayings...
