The Dodge Polara 500 was introduced in 1962 to an ever-growing market of buyers looking for a full-size luxury car with a sporty flare with options including bucket seats, center consoles and large powerful engines. It has been considered one of the first large muscle cars. By 1963, the Polara was revised into a larger, sleeker design with redesigned front and rear end features added to the 1964 model. Design changes made the 1964 Polara look longer, wider, and lower than its predecessor. This 1964 Dodge Polara is painted in Tuxedo Black and accented with miles of 60's chrome trim and bumpers. A set of Cragar five-spoke chrome wheels and scooped hood add a finishing touch to this 'mouthwatering' exterior.
