This 54 year old pony is in great shape for her age. A combination of iconic pony-car looks, eye-catching Red paint and well-chosen performance upgrades injects added appeal into this classic 1966 Mustang hardtop.

Under the hood is a 289 CI small-block V-8 enhanced with a 4-barrel carburetor on an aluminum intake manifold, Shelby air cleaner and valve covers, aluminum heads aluminum radiator and tubular headers backed by a dual-exhaust system ending in chrome tips. Shifting is handled through a C4 Auto transmission. This car is without doubt a blast to drive. This Mustang is also equipped with front disc brakes.

Externally, the appearance is all vintage, including much of the original paint. the rakish stance over 17' Retro wheels wrapped with modern BF Goodrich radial tires. The Poppy red paint shows very well, and all the chrome trim shines.

After having had a full restoration completed, not an inch of this Mustang was left untouched. A clean coat of paint was laid down with clear so deep you could swim in it. This gorgeous Thunderbird is painted in a late model Ford color named Wedgewood Blue Metallic and it looks amazing on this luxurious bird.

Originally Silver Mink which isn't too terribly far away from the new color. Inside is a black interior in terrific condition and equipped with all the Thunderbird goodies. Equipment consists of Power windows, Power seats, Air Conditioning, Telescopic steering column and of course everyone's favorite; the swing away steering wheel. Power comes from a smooth running and torquey 390 V8. Both the 390 and the C6 automatic were rebuilt during the detailed restoration in 2008. The restorers did a fantastic job with this one and had it a bit easier due to the solid state of the car. This Thunderbird is still retaining all its original metal.
