It's tough to get more American than a 1966 Ford Mustang. Ford had amazing success with the launch of the Falcon-based Mustang. The idea of an options list was brought into practice with the car which allowed a buyer to spec our their Mustang with just the options they wanted. This made for a car that hardly any two were exactly the same despite huge production numbers. It was also a great move by Ford because although the base price was very low, the average sale price of a Mustang was much higher because of added options. This particular '66 coupe is sporting the dead reliable 200 CID Inline 6 cylinder which fires up at a slight bump of the starter. Backing the 6 cylinder is a C4 automatic transmission which runs to a 2. 83 final drive ratio.
