This car was bought in New Mexico and then treated to a complete restoration. The body was dipped to remove all rust. The hood, front fenders and deck lid were replaced with New Old Stock parts. The 289 V-8 has been completely rebuilt, bored and balanced. New Ford Motorsports pistons swing from the crank of this 289 V-8. An aggressive Ford Motorsports camshaft with new lifters have been installed during the rebuild. Sitting on top of the 289 V-8 is a Holley 650 carburetor. The original iron heads have been replaced with Ford Motorsport aluminum heads with larger valves. The exhaust exit the heads through Hedman headers, and has a very healthy sound.
