The Pontiac Firebird was designed by John Delorean and Bill Collins and debuted in 1967. In March 1969, a $725 optional handling option called the -Trans Am performance and appearance package-, UPC -WS4- was offered. Named after the Trans Am race series, only 689 hardtops and 8 convertible models were made that year. That initial model year, customers could order any color combination they desired as long as it was Cameo Ivory with Blue accent stripes and Blue vinyl interior. This is truly a rare opportunity to own a number-matching original restored to show quality. There is no mistaking this historic car with its functioning dual hood scoops, air inlets on both front fenders and an aerodynamically tested rear deck spoiler.
