In 1967 Chevrolet made a major overhaul to the Corvette brand when they unveiled the all new C3 Corvette. The Mako Shark II design for the car was conceived by Larry Shinoda. The C3 Corvette was produced all the way until 1982. For those 15 years Chevrolet would make many changes, many of which were suggestions from their customer base. While that may be the case this slick ride is way beyond original! Approaching this car there isn't a bad angle on it but if I had to choose a favorite it's the side profile. The widened fenders give it such an aggressive stance! The paint is in great shape, love the white with dark gray stripe broken up with the red. Interior looks nice being dramatically updated and really complements the bold muscular exterior. The original engine is long gone and, in its place, a 6. 2L LS3 V8 out of a 2012 Camaro SS and it sounds awesome! All the horsepower is ran through a modern 6 speed automatic transmission.
