In 1967 Chevrolet made a major overhaul to the Corvette brand when they unveiled the all new C3 Corvette. The Mako Shark II design for the car was conceived by Larry Shinoda. The C3 Corvette was produced all the way until 1982. For those 15 years Chevrolet would make many changes, many of which were suggestions from their customer base. While that may be the case this slick ride is way beyond original! Approaching this car there isn't a bad angle on it but if I had to choose a favorite it's the side profile. The widened fenders give it such an aggressive stance! The paint is in great shape, love the white with dark gray stripe broken up with the red. This Corvette is a custom build with only the 'Bird Cage Firewall and windshield frame with vin #' as the seller puts it, remaining from the 74 car. It is as he says a 1968 Corvette Pro Street Roadster. The 1968 body that now sits on the car has been modified. Josh Powers flares 2' in front and 4' in rear.
