Some may call the 280ZX a Nissan, and they would be correct in a sense. The 280ZX was the first time that the Datsun badge was accompanied by the -by Nissan- subscript, and represented the changing of the brand in the American market, as the Datsun name was dropped altogether in 1986. In 1982, the 280ZX received a facelift, which came to be known as the Series II 280ZX. This included a revised B-pillar, pin-stripe style taillights, and of course the very cool asymmetrical NACA ducting in the hood. The sweeping roofline of this coupe is a classic shape that will not go out of style anytime soon. One of our favorite style cues has to be the -sugar scoop- headlight channels, as they feel retro and futuristic all at the same time.
