1965 Pontiac GTO

View Description

This beauty has been professionally restored by Barnes Classic Restorations in 2013, and won 1st place for Pontiacs at Pigeon Forge in 2014. Finished in Fontaine Blue, with a White convertible top, and Parchment Interior - just screams taste! We're not sure you'll find a prettier GTO convertible out there! The paint, fit, finish, with all new trim, re-chromed bumpers, and custom wheels just sets this beauty off! We're basically stating that this is a better than a new car - as every nut and bolt, and component is new! GCC does not like to use words like perfect, or impeccable, because there will always be something - someone will find - you get the idea - so let's just say you'd have to search long and hard - to find imperfections! This car is powered by a Butler Performance date coded Pontiac 400, with Edelbrock aluminum heads, Performer RPM intake,.

HEI distributor, mated to a 4-speed automatic transmission, and a 10-bolt rear end. She was updated with (4) Baer 6-piston 13' disc brakes, Hotchkis Sport Suspension; including tubular...

1968 Pontiac GTO

View Description

You can clearly see that someone invested nicely in the paint, and suspension of this 1968 Pontiac GTO Convertible. And with its numbers-matching 400ci V8 also looking (and sounding) so good, you know you have found muscle car heaven.

The glow of the paint first catches your eye (and everyone else, too. ) They resprayed the paint when the GTO was getting an off-frame rotisserie restoration to have a vivid personality and deep clearcoat shine. It looks terrific in the sunlight, which is exactly what you want a convertible to do. And you can also tell there was investment that went well beyond the paint to make sure the body was looking nice with the color-matched front end and a rear chrome bumper that shines like a mirror. This is a real-deal GTO, and a convertible version is a rare treat. So, they made sure this one lived up to its legendary status with proper dual hood scoops, and Rally II wheels with PMD center caps.

The crisp white roof looks great against the deep Flambau Burgundy exterior, and with the flip of a switch, it powers down to reveal a similar dynamic with the parchment interior. There was a nice...

1968 Pontiac Firebird

View Description

The Pontiac Firebird is an American automobile that was built and produced by Pontiac from the 1967 to 2002 model years. Designed as a pony car to compete with the Ford Mustang, it was introduced on February 23, 1967, five months after GM's Chevrolet division's platform-sharing Camaro. The first-generation Firebird had characteristic Coke bottle styling shared with its cousin, the Chevrolet Camaro. Announcing a Pontiac styling trend, the Firebird's bumpers were integrated into the design of the front end, giving it a more streamlined look than the Camaro. The Firebird's rear 'slit' taillights were inspired by the 1966-1967 Pontiac GTO. Both a two-door hardtop and a convertible were offered through the 1969 model year. Originally, the car was a 'consolation prize' for Pontiac, which had desired to produce a two-seat sports car based on its original Banshee concept car. However, GM feared this would cut into Chevrolet Corvette sales, and gave Pontiac a piece of the 'pony car' market through sharing the F-body...

1967 Pontiac GTO

View Description

The first generation of the GTO is credited as popularizing the muscle car market segment in the 1960s. The Pontiac GTO is considered by some to have started the trend with all four domestic automakers offering a variety of competing models. The GTO underwent a few styling changes in 1967. The louver-covered taillights were replaced with eight tail lights, four on each side, the GTO emblems located on the rear part of the fenders were moved to the chrome rocker panels, and he grille was changed from a purely split grille to one that shared some chrome. The GTO also saw several mechanical changes in 1967. The Tripower carburetion system was replaced with a single 4-barrel Rochester Quadrajet carburetor. The 389 cu in (6. 4 L) engine received a larger cylinder bore 4. 12 in (104. 6 mm) for a total displacement of 400 cu in (6. 6 L) V8! This particular 1967 example was optioned in Burgundy paint over...
