The Series 60 was added to the Cadillac line of vehicles in 1938 all of these were built at the Fleetwood plant, but were marketed as a Fisher Body Car. The Series 60 was designed to look like a convertible sedan and its design had many trend setting features such as no running boards which was soon to be followed by all makes, two-piece convertible style doors, a four window canopy, and a steeply raked windshield.
