1996 Was marking the end of long run of the now historic C4 Corvette. Known mainly for its highly evolved and modern look for it really took the Corvette into a completely different direction than the C3. Instead of a Body on frame construction it utilizes a uniframe. This consisted of a perimeter frame but also tied the door posts, windshield frame, and halo. The most distinct part though is the floor pans were now integrated and welded into one assembly making the set up a much more rigid platform.
