This beautiful little car was built on 4/91/1965, according to the British Motor Industry Heritage Trust certificate that comes with the car; however, it's titled as a 1967. Triumph's TR4 first arrived on the scene in 1961, and in 1965 was updated with a completely new independent rear suspension (however - not all came with IRS - the solid axle configuration remained an option).

This slick little TR4A is powered by its original 2. 1L inline 4-cylinder engine, with its original 4-speed manual transmission, and this gem is a blast to drive. Painted in its original 'New White' (color code 19), it looks almost as it did when it first rolled off the assembly line. The engine bay and undercarriage look almost as if the car has never been driven - this car is that clean! This TR4A has been a consistent 1st or 2nd place winner in every show that it's been entered in. The chrome trim, bumpers, and glass are in excellent condition as well, and the original knock-off wire wheels look great. The black convertible top is like new, as well. We say custom due to the changes she has been given - such as: a) no convertible top comes with the car -b) Power plant updated- to fit her 1970 rebuilt Boss302 V-8 rated at 325-hp, mated to the matching, Boss top loading 4-speed - c) the chassis was widened to accommodate the wider block - all else is still Jaguar! The consignor states engineering was applied to modify the sub-frame by 4', and then the engine and trans were inserted in '14, and have approx. 4,300-miles since. He didn't go crazy with any engine bay dress up - outside of a Weland aluminum intake, valve covers, Holley 4-bbl, with a set of headers exiting out the factory look of a Borla 4-tip exhaust. The rear end is a posi-traction 3:54 ratio - and she will sound like a kitten purring going down the highway as you're cruising! This Jag was repainted in '15 in BASF Formula Z40-60 Metallic Green base/coat /clear/coat, and will grab your attention - as this is a very soft Green that suites her well! The year 1966 was very important for the GTO of course- it was the first year that it had became its own Pontiac model instead of a trim level for the Tempest LeMans. This convertible has been fully 'Frame Off' restored over time by the owner and is really a sight to behold in its current condition. Painted in a rare 'Martinique Bronze' color, this 1966 GTO convertible looks extremely classy and sophisticated while maintaining as much muscle as you could desire. The numbers matching 389 CID V8 engine under the hood was the standard bearer for Pontiacs from 1959 through 1966 and was dubbed the 'Trophy V8' due to its variety of victories in racing. The original Tripower carburetor set up has been swapped for a 4bbl but is included with the sale. Headers, an MSD electronic ignition and a Champion aluminum radiator help with performance while parts like the AC compressor, alternator and valve covers are chromed making this a show ready engine bay! Right way you notice this is no ordinary Blazer. This 4x4 Blazer is packed with custom parts and wicked paint job. The paint is loaded with dark blue pearls that have hues of purple that pop out in the right light. It has a fantastic shine and deserves to be shown off. When the body was off the car, every single piece was painted. The frame was blasted and coated and the interior of the vehicle was painted with Rhino Liner.
