The Ford Falcon line was produced from 1960-1970. The Falcon Futura Wagon was a scaled down version of the Galaxie line up and served as a basis for multiple Ford lines including the first generation of the Mustang. The third generation of the Falcon line was launched in 1965 and in 1967 the heater/defroster became standard along with 10' brakes added to the V8 models. In 1967 dual circuit brake system was added along with energy absorbing steering wheel, 4-way flashers, soft side panels. The 1968 models received square tail-lights, new side light and front outboard shoulder belts.
