1956 Chevrolet Cameo
View Description
The Cameo truck was a new idea introduced in 1955-1958 and offered more luxury and style and changed what a pickup could be. It incorporated newly designed fiberglass outer side bed panels along with chrome and fiberglass bumpers. This 1956 3100 Cameo pickup example has had a restoration. It is powered by 350ci V8 and is mated to a 700 R transmission all running to a C-4 rear end. This Cameo rides on Crager 5 spoke chrome rims with 255 50 R17 rubber on the rear and 225 55ZR 17 rubbers in the front. The cabin is finished in a two-tone creme white and creme yellow dash with a modern / retro look six-gauge display for vital input on under hood operations. The bench seat is a beige synthetic with light brown fabric surfaces that match beautifully to the fabric door panels and brown carpet under feet. There are power windows and a retro looking AM/FM head unit with Bluetooth for the proper sounds as you roll along in this beautiful well powered time Machine....
