This pickup is painted in a glossy Lexus red finish with plentiful chrome shimmering on the front grille and bumpers. Added styling is touched off with a set of chrome 15' Cragar S/S 5 spoke wheels. The lowered stance on this pickup complements the aggressive look of the 5-window while the nicely finished wood bed brings back nostalgia. Lift the hood and you'll find an engine compartment that shows well, housing a 350CID V-8 motor with a 4-speed manual transmission with a Hurst shifter mated to the engine and shifts just the way you want it to. Installed all new suspension, sway bars front and rear, new gearbox and steering parts, 2' drop spindles and an aluminum gas tank. Engine was installed in Oct. 2023 it has less than 500 miles on it. It is an LS3 6. 2 500hp new from GM Performance. It has a Billit polish Serpentine kit, aftermarket valve covers and intake with Holley carb and MSD ignition. Aluminum radiator with electric fans 3000CFM's. The transmission is a 700R4 with new Servos, and a new clutch. 2400 Stall Converter. It is equipped with Disc brakes and slotted rotors, new master cylinder with Hydro booster, with an upgraded power steering pump. Differential housing was cut 1 3/4' on each side, new posi trac, 3. 73 gears and Ford axles. All new body parts through out, Billit hood hinges, all new smoke glass, new wing windows and hardware. Bed has everything new, new wheel house tubs, new Oak floors and all new hardware. It has all new chrome though out! Double layer sound installation, new carpet and kick panels....

After World War II Chevrolet was looking to revitalize their aging AK Series of trucks and brought the new Advance Design to the market. The Advance Design series brought forth a new look that was well received and sales were strong. This series would see production from 1947-1955. Here we have a '50 model, and wow is she a beauty. This Chevy is one of the highest modified and cleanly built trucks we have ever had here! In the late owner's words, he wanted to be able to drive at 70mph and have the ride and steerability of a luxury car and be able to win some car shows. Avery's Paint and Body Shop was selected since a car painted by John Avery won a large local show. And so a frame off restoration began and brings what you now see in these images.

The Porsche Guards Red paint looks terrific and has a lot of depth to protect it with 5 coats of paint and 4 layers of clear on top! The 37 Ford pickup has been a favorite of custom car builders since well since people started customizing cars. Originally the trucks made great platforms because they were plentiful and cheap. Unfortunately those times would soon be would be known as the good ole days as the demand for them crept up so did the price. That is where Downs industries stepped in. Ofcourse steel would not be a viable solution due to the simple cost but fiberglass on the other hand that could work. So in 1980 their first fiberglass body which was a 3 window coupe was introduced and the rest is history. This 37 body is a great example of how far the fiberglass world has come. Completely custom with a 3 inch chop, shaved handles, aluminum grill, oak wood bed are just a of the touches to the exterior on this one of a kind show truck. Covered in PPG Europe Blue Pearl and accented by one of kind flames that have been pinstriped in to give it a real 3 dimensional look. Under the tilt hood and covered by a custom one off fiberglass air cleaner the chromed out 383 stroker is nothing short of amazing....
