This was General Motors- first major design after World War II, it was called the Advance-Design series and was billed as bigger, stronger, and sleeker than the GM AK series. This series was introduced in 1947 and until being replaced in 1955 by the Task Force series there were very minor changes being made to these trucks. While this series was in production, Chevrolet truck sales were number one in the United States. This is a true example of a ride that looks like yesterday but is built for today with only 3945 miles on this Corvette crate 350 C. I. D V8 that packs 350 horsepower and 350 turbo transmission since being rebuilt. This gorgeous truck has had a lot of care and is documented on a lot of the routine maintenance.
