Debuting in 1970 and deriving its name from the famous city, Monte Carlo, nobody knew it would lead to six generations spanning nearly 40 years! The Monte Carlo was dreamed and developed to fill a new roll for the Chevrolet brand. It was actually marketed as the first ever personal luxury car by Chevrolet. This nice example is a 1972 model. In '72 Chevrolet made several small changes from front to back for the last year of the first generation. Walking around this model you will quickly notice how nice the condition of the paint is. Painted back to the original Golden Brown with a lighter tan, perhaps Cashmere colored vinyl roof that is also in nice shape. The interior follows suite in condition and complements the exterior with beige vinyl seats that show only small signs of use. Even the dashboard has no cracking! This Monte Carlo really glistens under the sunlight! Lying beneath the hood is a crate 350ci v8 engine mated to a 700r4 automatic transmission. The restoration of this car was done very well and was approximately 10 years ago and only 8,000 miles clocked since then. Odometer shows 88k miles and is believed original. Current owner...
