1956 Chevrolet Bel Air

View Description

Tri-Five Chevy-s have stood the test of time that all car enthusiasts can appreciate. From movies like American Graffiti to Two Lane Black Top these cars were the scene stealers. This 2 Door Hard top is originally a California car, produced and assembled in Oakland CA, the restoration has been tastefully done and keeps the car period correct. Restored in 2005, with the intent of participating in the -The Great Race-, this Bel Air easily made the trip from Philadelphia PA to San Rafael CA, then back home to Louisville KY. In total, nearly 6000 miles were put on the Bel Air and it performed flawlessly. The rust free body has been repainted to the original two tone Crocus Yellow and Laurel Green combination. New chrome one piece bumpers were also added at this time. A quick look under the car will show a nicely detailed frame, floor pans, brake lines and suspension components that just shows how complete the restoration is. Under the hood is a well dressed 265 CID Power pack V8 engine. A 4 barrel carburetor setup insures plenty of fuel is fed the 265 V8. The distributor has been upgraded with a Mallory breaker-less electronic ignition and...

1957 Chevrolet Bel Air

View Description

Big fins, chrome to spare, gold emblems, and stainless quarter panels let you know you are looking at the icon that is the '57 Chevy'. This 57 Bel Air has been very well restored to period correct condition, and the frame on restoration was done roughly ten years ago. Painted in a beautiful Matador Red and India Ivory two-tone, this car is sure to draw stares when cruising down the strip. The chrome front and rear bumpers have been redone, and the Continental spare on the rear completes the look on the exterior phenomenally. The inside of these tri-five Bel Airs is a sight to behold with the two tone vinyl and cloth interior and one of the most beautiful dashes ever produced. It has been redone in the style of the factory red vinyl with black and red pattern cloth. The open air vibe that a hardtop sedan can provide is bested only by convertibles. Roll all four of the windows down, and the expanse of open space from the windshield to the rear pillar is an experience that we will never see in any new...

1956 Chevrolet Bel Air

View Description

The 1956 Bel Air received a face-lift with a more conventional full-width grille, pleasing those customers who didn't favor the Ferrari-inspired '55 front end. Distinctive two-tone bodyside treatments and graceful front and rear wheel openings completed the 'speedline' restyling. Single housings incorporated the taillight, stoplight, and backup light, and the left one held the gas filler - an idea popularized on Cadillacs.

This 1956 Chevrolet Belair is powered by a 265CI Engine hooked to a 2speed Power Glide Transmission. The two tone Black and White Paint look great and the chrome is free of pitting or rust and shines in the sun. The Black and White Interior is in great shape and looks like your on the way to the sock hop. The 17' Chrome Riddle Wheels are free of...

1956 Chevrolet Bel Air

View Description

Chevrolet Built the Bel Air in 1950 and continued production all the way until 1980. In 1955 Chevrolet manufactured the second generation of Bel Airs from 1955 to 1957.

This 1956 Chevrolet Bel Air 2 door Hardtop is an eye catcher for sure, its bright yellow exterior that is in excellent condition is what really makes it pop. The beige custom vinyl interior is also in excellent condition. This Bel Air is powered by a new GM 350 CID V8 that is bolted to a 700R4 automatic transmission that drives with ease. Under the hood you will notice an Edlebrock aluminum intake manifold and a Holley 4bbl carburetor that provides plenty of air and fuel to get every bit of horsepower you can out of the engine. The polished aluminum radiator with 2 electric fans keep the engine cool in this Texas heat. Speaking of the Texas heat the owner added Air conditioning and heat, so you can drive this beauty anytime of year. Don-t worry about having a hard time stopping this vehicle because it has disc brakes...

1955 Chevrolet Bel Air

View Description

Except for the modern aluminum wheels, this '55 Bel Air looks about as original as it did the day it rolled off the assembly line. The white-on-red paint is eye-catching from a distance, but it is the attention to details that will have this car drawing crowds wherever you take it with clean chrome trim, emblems and, of course, the iconic airplane hood ornament. Even the trunk is a time capsule! Inside, however, the interior has been fully customized with red velour throughout, diamond plate-look floor mats and a custom shift lever. Hidden just below the original factory radio is a modern AM/FM stereo head unit that is all played through a four-speaker system. Ensuring that this 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air is a true head-turner is the V8 that rumbles to life under the hood. Starting life as a 305, this engine has, and it has also been upgraded with top-of-the-line components including the forged pistons, rods, valves, rockers and heads. The heavy cam and 10. 5:1 compression ratio makes this car an even bigger head-turner when it is fired up. This engine is mated to a 5-Speed Borg-Warner manual transmission, which sends power to the rear wheel through a 12-bolt...
