Z28 was in its second year in 1970, and 1970 introduced the second generation version of it's very popular F-Body series that ran from 1970 through 1981. Flat back windows were replaced with curved versions in 1975, and chrome bumpers as we know them changed forever in 1973 to satisfy tough new government mandates. And, performance numbers dropped rapidly after 1971, due to restrictive emission control requirements. Bottom line? This real-deal '70 Z28 represents the first year of the new body style very well, it's the last of the 'good' ones, and man is it a looker!
