1968 marked the second year of production for the now iconic First generation Camaro. Introduced the year before as GM-s answer to the Mustang and there entry into the pony car arena. Geared towards the new emerging market of what is now known as the baby boomers, this was the first time in history that a younger genre had actual buying power.
