Talk about a nice 3rd Generation Camaro! Convertible Camaros made their much-anticipated return in 1987, after the last one rolled off the assembly line way back in 1969. This one sports the Z28 package, IROC-Z option, AND 20th Anniversary Edition, making what is known in the entertainment business as a 'Triple Threat'. This pretty Chevrolet certainly checks all the right boxes folks. And it is CLEAN.
Exterior finishes look terrific, with a nice smooth deep shine. This is a low mile car, with only 40,453 actual miles since new. It has clearly had an easy life, and great care. And you just do not see IROC-Z versions very often, especially nice ones like this. IROC-Z stands for International Race of Champions, a competition similar to Nascar. IROC-Z began in 1974 by racing Porsches, but the cost of maintaining them was prohibitive, so the series turned to the Chevy Camaro in 1975.
