This Stepside pickup has recently been through a frame-off restoration creating one unbelievable Restomod. Starting with a completely rust-free truck, the body was removed from the frame where the chassis underwent several modifications. 4-wheel Wilwood disc brakes were added, and the steering was updated with a power rack & pinion set up. A stainless-steel fuel tank was dropped in between the frame rails behind the rear axle. This replaces the original fuel tank that was behind the seat from the factory. New lowering springs were placed in the rear with drop spindles up front. All suspension bushings were replaced as well. The body of the truck is very good, with fit and finish being a major focus. The deep black paint has a high gloss finish. All the chrome and stainless are new along with all the glass and weather stripping. Wood floor in bed and custom frenched taillights in the fenders. The custom black leather interior is what really raises the bar on this truck. All molded black leather, from the seats, door panels, kick panels, headliner, behind the seat and even atop the dash. This beautiful truck is covered in a deep red that boarders on Maroon and the paint look 3 inches deep. With paint this deep you know the metal that is the cab, hood and bed has been massaged to be straight. The front and rear fender and running boards are fiberglass. The floor of the bed consists of wood while not certain what type of wood, I am reasonably certain it is tree wood.

The luxury truck market has really caught fire the past decade. Many believe that this is a new trend however it was something that GM had tried many decades ago. The Cameo was really the first truck that put styling and comfort before the utility of the vehicle. A stunning 1969 Chevrolet Shortbed Custom!

Way back in 1967, General Motors was building on the success of the first iteration of the C-series pickup when Chevrolet introduced the redesigned version in 1967. This second generation might have carried over certain aspects like the coil springs that were still positioned all four corners, but the crisp and cleanly-designed new body shell appeared. Both a Stepside and Fleetside were still available on the C10, and subsequent grille changes continued to represent new model-year calling cards up through 1972. The 1969 and 1970 C10 models are barely distinguishable, unless one has intimate knowledge of the various trim pieces. More importantly though, is that the 1969 model year was the first to feature the ubiquitous 350 cubic-inch small-block. This year, the new engine replaced the previous year's legendary 327ci engine. And what many saw as a change to outmaneuver Federal emissions restrictions, 1969 would also be the last year the 396ci big-block was placed in the C10. The 1970 model saw the introduction of the 402ci engine, and many Chevy truck buyers were confused by the size, since it was marketed and badged this year as a 400.
