The Chevrolet AK Series truck was a light duty truck sold under the Chevrolet brand, with production beginning in 1941 until 1947. It used the General Motors A platform, shared with the Chevrolet Deluxe. In 1942 because of war there was no production for the public as all trucks were designated for military use. This 1942 AK is one of those trucks. This AK is far from standard issue. Powered by a 69 Camaro 350 CI small block and a 700 R4 from Monster transmissions.
