1968 marked the first year of the newer, sleeker more round body styling. Sales took off with the new look and to this day is what people know a Chevelle to be. Originally from Texas, this car was completely gone though to bring it to the beautiful condition it is in today. A very potent newly built 396 was dropped in that had a new intake and Holley 750 4 barrel sitting on top just to give it a little more power. This motor was rebuilt in Texas in 1996. Just to insure that motor stays cool and continues to run smooth a new aluminum radiator with dual fans was installed. The transmission is the original, highly sought after, Muncie M-22 with the classic Hurst shifter that came in the car. It has been rebuilt as well with all receipts confirming the work performed. The rear end is the classic 12 bolt posi with a set of 3. 73 giving it decent highway drivability. Making sure all 4 wheels stay firmly planted the original F41 suspension was used to give this 68 that classic feel. The interior...
