Some call it a Chevy II some little duce coupe, but everyone loves the old square girl. Now when I say square, I do not mean dull or uninteresting because this Chevy II is full of personality. First thing you notice is the sweet deep black luster of this car. There was a lot of work to make this car sharp enough to make the gloss this deep. Then you slide behind the Steering wheel and wonder, was this car this nice when it was new? The answer is a resounding 'No' the dash has the same gloss and gauges and controls on the dash have a fine shinny finish to the chrome that makes them pop. Then you notice the tan with black accent interior with leather seats, cup holders and built in B&M shifter that looks as if it should have been built that way in '62. This '63 Chevy II has the best of the old and the new working together to make something very special. A quick look and you would be certain that this is one clean, well painted sharp looking little deuce coupe but you would be somewhat wrong. The longer you look the more you will notice the latest technology. The big give away is the Dakota digital dash and the 6-speed knob parked on top of the manual shift lever. Now once the hood is open all bets are off as the cammed dyno'd 450HP LS1 gleams and looks nothing like the little Chevy small block that would have been perched here. The LS1 giving it the rumble and stumble that makes me want to make it my ring tone. This car is a a Chevy II lover's dream. Small light and stuffed full of motor! This car was a long-time ground up restoration/street-rod project of the previous owner. Everything was replaced or reconditioned, including the body being stripped to bare medal and any rot or age-related damage was replaced or repaired, then it was painted white. The interior was finished in fresh black vinyl with new door cards, black carpet and custom black buckets and headliner, with a black dash cap over new gauges. A custom center console was added and houses a Hurst Pistol Grip Shifter. This ultra clean, 2 door hardtop, Chevy II sits on staggered black, 15' JEGs wheels for a sinister look. Under the hood is a Weiland 671 supercharged, 350 small-block, which sends power through a built Turbo 350 transmission.
