The base model in 1939 was renamed the Master 85. While the original power plant, a 206 cid inline 6 rated at 80hp performed well in the day, this 1939 Street Rod will do better. Featuring a 350cid V8 crate motor mated to a 350 Turbo Automatic transmission with only 30k miles since the rebuild, this beauty is ready to move out in style! Retooling had cost $26 million, an astronomical figure by the standards of the time. Not since 1929 had Chevrolets been altered so completely. This is the same year that Bing Crosby released songs like Sweet Leilani and Snow White was in theaters for the first time! Impressive new styling of the 1937 Chevrolet Master and Master Deluxe was the work of Jules Agramonte, who had designed the stunning 1934 LaSalle.

This car received a frame off restoration in 2003 and has only logged 4639 miles on it since the build was completed & no expense was spared.
