1977 Chevrolet Monte Carlo
View Description
The Monte Carlo was first introduced in 1970 as GM-s intermediate size 2 door coupe. These cars were not really known for their power or speed but for their comfort. Most of them were ordered up with options making it a highly profitable model for GM. 73 would mark the first redesign for the Monte Carlo which is the design you have here. This 77 has gone through an extensive restoration and it definitely shows. With the body work stripped off and engine pulled the car was basically a shell. A very clean car to begin with as it did not need any metal work and retains all the original panels. Painted a one off subtle yellow it looks land appears if it left the factory that way. The vinyl covered half roof gives it a much more sophisticated feel with the black breaking up the yellow. The brite work on the car shines up nicely with no pitting or signs of wear it shows very nicely. Under the hood lies the original small block which suites the car very well. Matched up to the very reliable and always popular TH350 shifts are nice...
