From the 70-s into the mid 80-s Chevrolet-s Monte Carlo was a dominant force in NASCAR racing. This success lead to strong sales of the car to the public. All the cool kids in high school were driving mid 70-s Monte Carlo-s that they had saved up their money to buy from the local used car lot, or that had been handed down to them by their parents. With their stylish good looks, these cars are still popular even today. An original Maroon color car, this Monte Carlo has been repainted once. The interior looks just as good as the day that it rolled out of the factory. All factory gauges still work, and a couple of aftermarket gauges have been added. Long gone is the anemic 305 V-8 engine. It has been replaced a healthy 383 stroker engine.
