Rolling into the 60s Chevrolet was looking to shake up the market a bit and introduced the Corvair. A car that to this day is the only mass produced American made car with a rear-mounted, air-cooled engine. Debuting in 1960 the Corvair would see 2 generations spanning 9 years of production until 1969. Here we have a very nice '65 Model. The Cypress Green paint looks very good, as it should since she was repainted within the last couple of years. The Fawn colored vinyl interior is also in great shape. Under the hood is a complete rebuilt Flat 6-cylinder engine mated to a 2-speed automatic transmission. This car has been subjected to a massive restoration. Was stripped to bare metal and painted, sanded and buffed. Completed engine tear down rebuilt from the crankshaft up.
