Bought locally here in St Louis just over 50 years ago! This rare automatic transmission Corvair has been garaged and enjoyed since its restoration in 2000 and will not disappoint you. The white exterior was repainted in 2000 and still looks fantastic. The light blue vinyl interior is believed to be original and takes you back to 1964 in a flash. With just 69,770 original miles, this beauty sports the orignial inline-six rear engine with an auto power guide transmission; the automatic transmission is a rarity to find. The Corvair sits on traditional white wall tires. If you get caught out in the rain, or on the verge of getting sunburned, the black convertible top is functional and is in showroom quality. The AM radio dials in the oldies of yester year heard via the dash speaker. The Corvair's production ran from 1960-1969. Winning Motor Trend's Car of the Year in 1960.
