In 1947, American car manufacturers were still bouncing back from production slowdowns due to World War II. 1946 marked some of the first new models since '42. Automobiles of this era are becoming more and more sought after as they mark a turning point in American automotive history. This '47 has come a long way since rolling off the Chevrolet assembly line. The car still retains its factory roofline, but has been modernized with a two tone paintjob of silver on top of midnight blue. Drop it on top of a set of 'classic' chrome American Racing Torque Thrust wheels and you have the perfect stance for this street rod. Of course, the modifications are not just aesthetic.
