The Mustang is the longest running nameplate in Ford's history. Ford originally thought it would sell 100,000 Mustangs in the first year but over 400,000 were purchased. The Mustang was the namesake of the Pony Car which the long hood and short deck came as a for runner to the Challenger, Firebird, Camaro , and Javelin. And set the standard for the stylish sporty coupes for many years to come and is still thriving today. This Mustang was covered in a beautiful coat of Grabber Lime and gets a lot of attention. A strong running 351 Cleveland V8 engine is stuffed under the hood and it runs like a top. The 3-speed automatic transmission handles the power without complaint blasting this Mach 1 off like a rocket from a stop! A smooth rumble flows from the exhaust until you stomp on the go-pedal and make it shriek like a banshee.

Under the hood sits a 302 cubic inch V8 and 3-speed automatic overdrive. Turn the key and the iron lump between the fenders roars to life. This car began its life as a Fastback and was built in San Jose and sold new in Los Angeles. This Fastback shows very well and received a restoration in 2000 and has been loved and enjoyed ever since. In addition to general maintenance this vehicle has had new battery cables, solenoid, coil, plug wires and oil and radiator caps. All replacement parts were OEM Ford parts to keep the vehicle original.
