The Olds 88 was introduced in 1949 and was Oldsmobile's top selling line for many years. 1959 and 60 featured a two year only body style which was long and wide and screamed American style. The chrome was applied with a trowel and if you bought this car by the pound it would cost a fortune! Keeping in mind it's girth, Oldsmobile did not skimp on the power plant. This car features a 394 CID V8 with 4 barrel carburetor which was rated at 315 HP. Backing the V8 is the famous GM Hydramatic 4 speed automatic transmission. This particular Super 88 has been in the same family for 27 years. She is sporting the original Copper Mist Metallic exterior color and still retains its original stainless and chrome trim....

1972 was the second year of the seventh generation of the Delta 88. This particular example is the Royale model, which features a more refined interior, and special badges on the vehicle. Powering this personal luxury cruiser is the original rocket 350 V8 engine coupled with the original 3-speed automatic transmission.
