1995 saw the end of a legendary motor: the 5. 0L Windsor V8. Found in the infamous Fox body Mustang, this motor found its way into the 1994 and 1995 SN-95 Ford Mustang GT and Cobra SVT Cobra. The 5. 0 in this particular Cobra has been woken up with a Crane Performance camshaft, AFR Performance heads, and a C&L mass airflow sensor. Additional performance modifications include a short throw shifter, Flowmaster exhaust, stainless drilled brake rotors, and chrome Cobra 500r wheels. 1994 saw a major redesign for the Ford Mustang, as well as Mustang's return to Indianapolis. The all-new 1994 Mustang Cobra convertible became the third Mustang to pace the Indy 500. 1000 replicas of the red-and-tan convertible were produced. The 94 Mustang was powered by a modified version of Ford's 5. 0L V-8 engine that produced 240 horsepower. 1963 Indy winner Parnelli Jones was chosen to drive the pace car. This 1994 Indy Pace Car only has 28712 miles on it. The red paint is original and still in good shape. The Blue Oval emblem on the trunk has changed for a nice Cobra SVT Cobra badge. This triple black convertible is simply gorgeous. In the Mustang world, triple black is where it-s at! The Cobra SVT Cobra was a high-performance version of the Ford Mustang, considered as top-of-the-line as it was positioned above the Mustang GT and Mach 1 models during its era of production. Starting with the 1996 model year, every Cobra engine was hand-assembled by two-person teams at the Ford Romeo Engine Plant in Romeo, Michigan. Each engine had a label bearing the names and signatures of the two engine builders.
