The Cobra as it is known, was a Mustang built by the Cobra SVT division of Ford Motor Company. 1996 would see the aging 5. 0 engine retire with the all-aluminum 4. 6 DOHC unit that was more efficient and smoother revving than the outdated 5. 0. The 4. 6 in the Cobra is a little different than just a GT engine. Hand assembled by a two-person team and verified by a signed label. This 96 has had lived a pampered life and with a little over 71000 miles it has always been well taken care of. The paint is in unbelievable condition given the fact its 21 years old. Those classic Cobra wheels really compliment the lines of the car and complete that all stock look. The engine was rated at 305HP from the factory but this 4. 6 has had some bolt ons giving it quite a bit more. The first and easiest of the bunch is the cold air intake kit which is probably the most used bolt on.
