1993 marked the final year for the third generation of Ford's 'Fox Body' platform and was the first vehicle that was developed under Ford's newly established Special Vehicle Team. This Vibrant Red Clearcoat '93 Cobra SVT Cobra comes with a Ford Special Vehicle Team certificate identifying it as vehicle number 3718 out of 4993 built, and a Deluxe Marti Report, so it's definitely no Cobra 'tribute' - it's the real deal! Compared to the Mustang GT in 1993, the 1993 Cobra SVT Cobra received high flow cast iron GT40 heads, GT40 lower intake manifold, a special high flow upper intake manifold, larger throttle body/mass air meter (65mm vs 60mm), higher flow injectors (24lb/hr vs 19lb/hr), 10% transmission gear ratio reduction for 1st through 3rd gear (vs the GT's T-5 ratios), higher capacity clutch, slightly softer spring rates, Tokico shocks and struts, and a slightly thinner front swaybar. The Cobra also received its own unique 17-inch aluminum wheels and super sticky 245/45-ZR17 performance radials.
