Chrysler bought Plymouth in 1928 but did not start using the name until 1929. It would be in direct competition with the likes of Ford and Chevrolet who pretty much owned the entry level car market. Plymouth was bringing a lot to the table with its heavy duty hydraulic braking an option you could not even get with Ford or Chevy. This 37 is a far cry from the original days of its inline six cylinder days. The first thing you will notice is the bright yellow paint which is definitely an eye catcher. The red stripe is just enough to break it up so it doesn't look like a yellow blob. The chrome wheels are the classic torque thrust design with the classic look filling the fenders nicely. Turn the handle on the hood and lift up to reveal the potent power plant that takes all this metal down the road. The 383 stroker is an awesome power plant that is known for its durability and performance.
