Into the late 60s muscle cars were all the hype! Mopars were in hot demand but not everyone could afford the big block powered cars. Sales were strong enough that General Manager Robert McCurry decided to create a car that could appeal at a lower price point but still crack a smile when that V8 engine did more than idle. You know what I mean! Senior designer Harvey J. Winn decided to enter the contest for the name of the newly designed car. As his last name says, he won, and the Dodge Super Bee would be produced from 1968-1971 in the United States and would forever be an iconic classic mopar! Here we have a WM23 code 1970 model, built March 5, 1970 with the believed original E63 code 383ci V8 and D21 heavy duty factory 4 speed!
