1971 Dodge Challenger

View Description

The Challenger nameplate began in 1969 as a 1970 model. Over the years, three generations of the Challenger have been produced on and off till the present. The first- generation Challenger was produced from 1970 -1974. Having a longer wheelbase, larger dimensions and a more luxurious interior resulted in the Challenger having its own niche market compared to its Plymouth Barracuda counterpart. Dodge sold the car with every engine size, trim levels, and options it had in its arsenal. Even though the Challenger struggled for sales at the time, today it is highly collectable in the muscle car market.

Our featured '71 Challenger is finished in the now famous Mopar High Impact color Plum Crazy purple with black RT strips, black vinyl seats and a black power assisted convertible top. The Mopar legend is powered by a 340 cubic inch V8 with a four-barrel carburetor all linked to...

1970 Dodge Challenger

View Description

This complete nut & bolt restoration took nearly 3 years and over 3000 man hours to complete and it shows. The build started with a running & driving car that from the outside appeared to be in pretty good condition. Once the car went through media blasting a different story was told. The body had some issues that were professionally repaired by cutting out the rusted areas and replacing them with welded in patch panels and it is evident that no corners were going to be cut on this restoration project. Wanting to stay with a rather original looking Challenger the body mods would consist of very subtle changes including the bumpers being modified to enhance their fit to the body, welding the bumper bolts on the back side of the painted bumpers and removing the stock vertical -nerf bars- that would be found on a stock Challenger. Little details are what make the car, and this one has all the right ones! The door handles were shaved, the outside mirrors were removed, and the side marker lights were removed in order to give the body a very clean and smooth appearance. When it was time to repaint the Challenger, all...

1970 Dodge Challenger

View Description

This is a beautifully restored and kept vehicle with a well-tuned 340, pistol grip 4 speed, and B3 Blue!

Most Mopar hype around muscle from the 60s and 70s surrounds the 440 V8s. While we all love the 440, there is something extremely underestimated about a well built 340. They had large intake and exhaust ports, dual timing chain to improve top end RPM, and many many other goodies that make this a high-revving mean Machine. The lighter block also means better cornering. The owner documented numbers matching drive train is in fantastic condition. For modern Sunday cruising this is the ultimate muscles car. Less cold natured than a 440, but plenty of pep to give you some right pedal fun. Out back are a set of 3. 55:1 gears with a posi-traction rear end. The B3 blue exterior shows nicely, and the white vinyl interior is in fantastic condition. The black vinyl roof...

1970 Dodge Challenger RT

View Description

Dodge offered up the Challenger as a smaller performance muscle car in its lineup as opposed to the Charger which carried the same engine and transmission options for the most part. The most desirable year Challenger arguably to say for most would be the 1970 which offered to be either a 318, 340, 383, 440 or a 426 hemi equipped car. This Challenger has been taken to the next level by adding a 528 cubic inch Hemi V8 under the hood putting down well over 600 horsepower. The Hemi is bolted to a TH400 3-speed automatic transmission which Quarter Stick styled shift controls. The power is transferred back to a Dana rear axle which is sporting a 3:83 gear ratio. The Challenger is coated in a gloss black paint job which features custom metallic purple flames in the front and custom Hemi emblems on the hood. The tasteful custom look of this car is capped off by adding a set of Foose aluminum chrome wheels...
