Following record-breaking sales after the release of the Mustang in 1964, designers at Ford looked to size up the pony car and did so for the 1967 model year. This Mustang has undergone work over the last 5 years, and has had barely 100 miles put on the car since it was completed. This Mustang is powered by a 289 Cubic Inch V8, which is mated to an automatic transmission. The gorgeous Burgundy paints pairs with, AM/FM radio, spare tire, power brakes, power steering, jack, seat belts, radial tires, and rally wheels.

In the mid 60's Ford developed and released a car that would become one of the longest produced cars in American History! We all know the story of the Mustang, the quintessential Pony Car that took America by storm! While even today these cars are loved and we are happy there are many of these ponies still around; however, there are some breads of the Mustang that are rarer, and that you don't see as often. That is what you see in front of you. Here we have 1966 Mustang GT. Approaching the car it may seem like any coupe until you focus on the front fog light bar, walk around the either side and see the disc brakes, the individual Mustang lettering and GT badge. Around the rear you find the GT gas cap and the exhaust is through the valance as it should be. To really prove it is authentic, behind the rear seats is the brackets to hold up the dual exhaust and behind the fog light bar where the wires go through you can feel the metal was punched at the factory. This Goldenrod Yellow 1930 Model A Coupe features fantastic paint and brilliant chrome. The body sits atop a custom tube frame chassis, built by Rod Tech Rods & Classics in Wisconsin. The front suspension is a customized Mustang II setup, with tubular control arms and adjustable QA1 coilover shocks with 1300 lb. springs. A Mustang II manual steering rack is also part of the setup. Out back is a Ford 9-inch rear end with 3. 50:1 gears, TractionLoc limited slip differential, and 28 spline axles. The 9-inch is fitted with a custom adjustable 4-bar link suspension and coilovers with Bilstein shocks. This awesome driver also has 4-wheel disc brakes, so when you find yourself encroaching speeding ticket territory, you can scrub off that excess speed quickly. Under the hood is a very potent BluePrint engines 347 CID V8, with dyno sheet showing 415HP/415Lb/Ft torque. The 347 is topped by a big AVS2 650 CFM 4BBL carb and aluminum intake and heads. What an exciting time it was to be an American! It was because of the times that Ford selected the name, Galaxie, for their newest car at the end of the 50's as to tie in with the allure of the Space Race that had Americans full of wonder. Here we have a 1964 model, the last year of the second generation. What a design, Ford did a nice job with the design. The gorgeous silver paint really shines with this car's bold lines. The rims work well and really set off the stance of this Galaxie; as they should. The black vinyl interior is also in great condition.
