This 1939 Ford Roadster just took FIRST PLACE at the 65th Annual 2017 Detroit Autorama for 1935-1948 Mild Custom! This Roadster is truly a piece of art and is something you cannot buy on a shelf. until now! We are proud to display this 1939 Ford Roadster in our showroom which has recently been the center of attention. Even under indoor lighting, the paint on this Roadster looks deep enough to swim in. The bottom is a gorgeous Sunburst Orange and the top is painted in a classy GM Pewter. What is really unique is that entire top of this '39, including the 'headliner' is painted in the Matrix Base BASF paint color which makes you feel like your outside the car even when you're sitting in the driver's seat! The interior is filled with Cognac colored European leather everywhere, even in the trunk and under your feet. You get to enjoy modern amenities like a Kenwood 7in Navigation Touchscreen Multimedia head unit with Rockford Fosgate Amps and 8 Infinity speakers including 2 hidden subwoofers behind the 22in custom trunk mounted monitor. The Cobra name has long been synonymous racing, performance, and motor sports. In 1962 Carrol Shelby teamed up with Ford for their racing engines and AC from Britain that developed a body suitable to cradle and V8 engine and hit the track. From there a racing legend was born! In the 1960s there few cars that had the ability to compete with a Shelby Cobra in speed and brute power.
