This T-Bucket is a road ready show car. This particular 1923 Ford Model T Roadster has a 302 cubic inch small block Ford Engine with a mild street cam. The engine is topped with a single 4 barrel Edelbrock carburetor. The engine is dressed out in matte black valve covers and headers that flow down into a set of tasteful red side pipes. The builder decided he wanted something different when he started the project so instead of using your normal run of the mill SBC he opted for a great looking 250 CID straight 6. Since he planned on driving it the estimated 30+ MPG was an added bonus. Once he received his straight 6 motor he decided to outfit it with a set of Offenhauser heads that give this straight 6 an amazing amount of low end grunt. The icing on the cake of you will is the great looking tri carb set up. This set up not only looks amazing but is another way that this 27 stands out from the crowd. With the engine complete the next decision was what transmission? Sure you could go with the typical 3 speed automatic but that-s not really 'different'. The T -bucket has been at the heart of the hot rod scene since its inion almost 100 years ago. A major hit in California they gradually would make their way to the east coast but it would not be until 1957 when the first fiberglass body would be manufactured did the Bucket really take off. Ofcourse the whole idea of a bucket was to put the biggest motor in the smallest car. This bucket has a stout small block with a displacement of 350 Cubic Inches the motor fills the frame rails nicely. The engine was treated to a set of 194 heads which gave the small block a much better feel. The Comp cam is big enough to give it a great low and mean lope when idling, but really hums in the higher RPM range. Feeding all that muscle fuel is an Edelbrock 600 CFM four barrel carburetor which not only is functional but looks great while doing it.
