In 1960, the Ranchero became much smaller, based on Ford's compact Falcon, specifically the two-door sedan delivery variant. This Ranchero proudly sports the Falcon styling. Powering this stout little car is a recently rebuilt 289 CID V8 that has many go-fast upgrades. The standard 289 CID has been bored. 30 over, has 10:1 compression, equipped with flat top pistons, forged crank, crane cam, Rhodes lifters, roller rockers, dual-feed Holley carburetor, and much more! Backing that powerplant is a TCI engineered, automatic C4 transmission. Putting the power to the ground is a strong Ford 8' rear-end with Auburn Posi traction and a 3:00 gearing.
