This 1st year Mustang was assembled in Detroit mid-year 1964 and is a true 'D code' (which was only used for the 1964 1/2 289 4V Mustangs) 289 CID/C-4 convertible, so it is definitely ready to put the top down and hit the road. Based on the data plate, this car appears to be the original color combination and seating. It's not very often you find one of the true 1964 1/2 early production Mustangs and even more so for the convertibles. The red-on-red color combo is a huge plus. This vehicle has been restored back to original styling and features all standard options of the time.
